Cordoba

The city is composed of 15 congregations, bounded to the north by Ixhuatlan del Cafe and Tomatlan, and its southern reaches borders with Amatlan de los Reyes and Naranjal. The eastern area abuts Fortin de las Flores and Chocaman and in the western part with Amatlan de los Reyes.

Cordoba has a municipal surface of 226 km2, that represents 0.19% of the whole of the state and 0.0071% of Mexico. Cordoba is divided into 176 localities, the most important are: San Jose de Tapia, las Flores, Miraflores, Los Naranjos, Brillante Crucero, el Porvenir, San Rafael Caleria, Santa Elena, San Miguelito, San Nicolas.

Cordoba is located in the center of the state of Veracruz, 18°51'30" North latitude and 96°55'51" longitude West. Cordoba is between the hills of Matlaquiahitl and Tepixtepec. It is situated at an elevation of 817 mts.[2] above mean sea level.

Its "climate is semicalido-humedo" (warm & humid), with an annual average temperature of 19.8C. There is abundant rainfall in summer and autumn, with little rains in winter.
